Cheese Rolls

Ingredients

2 pkgs. crescent dinner rolls

2 - 8oz. pkgs. cream cheese

3/4 cups sugar

1 egg, separated

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. lemon juice

Slivered almonds or walnuts

Directions

Pat 1 package of rolls on bottom of ungreased 9x13" pan. Beat cheese, sugar, lemon juice, egg, yolk, and vanilla till smooth. Spread over pan. Pat 1 package of rolls on top. Brush top with egg white. Sprinkle on nuts. Place in a 350° oven for 25 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature.
