Banana Bread (version 4)
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 small bananas, mashed
1/3 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream the sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, to butter mixture, mixing well. Add mashed bananas and mix thoroughly. Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, continuing to mix. Pour into a greased loaf pan coated with bread crumbs. Bake for one hour. Cool in pan on wire rack for 5 minutes. Remove bread from pan and continue to cool.
